Rooted in the belief that artists working with historical collections can spark new dialogues and cultivate deeper contemporary relevance with our community, the Denver Art Museum has been collaborating with artists to connect audiences to our collection inside and outside our walls. Hear about audience outcomes when we give artists freedom to explore our collection, share their voice, and co-create programs. By sharing the story of how three artist-activated programs evolved, this session will ignite a conversation about programmatic strategies and interpretive techniques for engaging new audiences.
