Education and educators are playing a key role in shifting organizational priorities around civic engagement. They are asking provocative questions and achieving outcomes that together reframe leadership, authority and its relation to community. In addition, the traditional boundaries and terms used to describe education are being re-examined. You can join in break-out discussions, facilitated by leaders from a variety of museums and building on last spring’s “Leading the Future of Museum Education” national meeting in Denver. Learn how you can advance and/or continue to advocate for these changes, as well as develop leadership strategies for adapting to and influencing organizational transformation at multiple levels.
