To take the next step beyond the Bilingual Exhibit Research Initiative (BERI) Report, the San Diego Natural History Museum wanted to explore how bilingual visitors effectively engage with multimedia in exhibitions. As a result, we utilized three different bilingual approaches for multimedia in the permanent exhibition “Coast to Cactus in Southern California.” Learn more about the implementation and challenges of the different approaches, and hear the results of our findings through informal observations and summative evaluation.
