This session will examine how increased access to technology is challenging the field to rethink what can and should happen in person during K-12 professional learning programs and what might best be accomplished online. You will work in teams to define the unique strengths and limitations of three different learning spaces: classrooms, museums, and online. After discussing the results, participants and the facilitators will share ways their programs combined multiple learning spaces and consider how, if at all, the blend contributed to program effectiveness. Last, you will consider ways blended learning might enhance an existing program you support.
