This session is a “101” on grant funding for small museums. It will cover the basics on how to find funding opportunities, corporate giving, federal grant application processes, and tips for writing successful proposals. The session is for individuals serving in multifaceted roles at institutions that may not have a dedicated development department. It was designed for busy people who wish to jump start grant-making at their museums. This is an active hands-on session, so be sure to bring basic information about your museum and be prepared to write!
